I currently collaborate in teaching and research activities at the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico, and I am also part of the master’s in applied statistics with network analysis program. From the start, my experience in this program has been positive, and the enrollment process is very friendly. The program has a solid academic structure and a comprehensive approach beyond the simple transmission of theoretical concepts. It proposes a balanced combination of statistical theory, practical skills, and network analysis methodologies to meet the demands of today’s academic and professional market. The fact that the program is online is quite convenient because it provides accessibility to the materials as well as the option to review the recorded classes, which is especially valuable for those who, like me, must reconcile time differences and work responsibilities without losing the pace of study or the depth of learning.
For me, learning network analysis was the primary motivation for enrolling, and I must say that this program does not just teach how to use specialized software but provides a methodological perspective that allows one to understand the logic behind the analysis and apply it effectively. The program’s training has exceeded my expectations as it offers a wide range of subjects ranging from statistics and probability to machine learning, linear models, multidimensional analysis, and structural equations and integrates the underlying logic behind each technique coherently. Thus, rather than merely imparting technical knowledge or teaching the use of specialized software, the program pushes for a complete understanding of the conceptual framework underpinning statistical methods and network analysis. This comprehensive approach has allowed me to develop a more critical and versatile vision, transferring the skills learned to research situations in my professional environment.
I recognize that Data Analytics and Social Statistics is a demanding program. The workload requires dedication and good time management, but this intensity is commensurate with the level of training received. In my experience, this academic rigor is a positive aspect, as it guarantees a deep immersion in the contents and a solid preparation to face complex challenges in the professional field. Finally, I would like to highlight the academic staff, as each professor, in addition to being an expert in their area, demonstrates a genuine commitment to the progress of students and offers personalized guidance, high-quality supplementary material, and a global context that facilitates the practical application of what has been learned.
